Our company is based in Northern Austria, in the idyllic region of Waldviertel, just a few kilometres away from the Czech border. You will find us surrounded by forests and meadows in the small town of Amaliendorf.

The company Technische Alternative GmbH has been active here for over 20 years with the development of controler technology to save energy. Since 1989 we produce electronic solar and heating controllers with innovative functionality for domestic and international market. Our offerings range, from installation-friendly Single-purpose controller to the universal controller which is freely programmable and can be used as a central control system for the entire heating management.

Sparing and efficient use of energy is of great importance to us. This was particularly taken into account during the extension of the company building in 1998/1999. A solar thermal system with a 100 m² collector surface heats a 90 m³ seasonal storage tank, and thus provides a large proportion of the heating energy. All electrical energy is obtained from a 3 kW photovoltaic system and, by means of a corresponding participating interest, from wind turbines.
