The UVR61-3 unit has various functions for use in solar thermal systems and heating systems: thermostat, differential temperature, and speed control. The desired control function is specified by means of entering the respective program number.

Photovoltaic version

The UVR61-PV is suitable for use in 12 or 24 V direct current networks. With the  exception of a few small di erences it has the same functionality and expansion capabilities as the UVR61-3, but without speed control. Operation without a charge controller is also possible using PV panels with outputs greater than 25 W used in conjunction with special solar pumps made by Laing. For special applications with pump capacities > 20 W, a capacitor block is recommended for improving the motor start-up.

Capacity block for DC pumps

The capacitor block with an electrolytic capacitor of 100,000 μF / 25 V serves as a wear-free temporary energy store for motor starting in simple direct photovoltaic - panel wiring connections with DC circulating pumps.

Solar station with universal controller

The SOLSTAR solar station is connected to the primary circuit of a solar thermal system and contains all the components which are necessary for optimum operation of the solar thermal system. The  ttings are made from EN 12165 CW614N brass. With appropriate water/glycol frost protection (max. 50%), the solar station can be operated in a temperature range from -10°C to 160°C. G3/4" connections throughout should shorten installation times.

Single heating circuit controller

The UVR63-H unit has a complex mixer control for a single heating circuit and speed control functions for use in heating systems. Likewise, a charging pump with return  ow booster can be realised using a motor mixer. The desired control function is obtained by entering the program
number.

Four circuit universal controller

The UVR64 unit features various thermostatic, differential temperature and speed control functions for use in solar thermal and heating systems. Approximately 600 different links from a wide range of  ow schemes are available. Output-related priority, time switching function, miscellaneous safety and start options round o the usage options.

Universal heating controller

The HZR65 unit has, alongside a mixer controller for a heating circuit, various thermostat, di erential temperature and speed control functions for heating and charging pumps. The desired control function is speci ed by entry of the number of the selected  ow scheme.
