Problem: Start of TAPPS causes GENERAL SEGMENTATION FAULT.
Remedy: Press ESC-key as soon Screensplash (start window) appears until drawing level appears

Problem: Network printers set as standard printers lead to start problems.

Remedy: Set local printer as standard printer or print in file (Adobe pdf-writer as standard printer provides a perfect print preview too)

  • Support of User Interlock MENU for UVR1611 from version A3.24

Modifications:

  • Determining the system requirements of function data the minimum requirement to the operation system of UVR1611 from version A3.20 will be treated sophisticated. I.e., a higher version than A3.20 will only be demanded, if newer functionality is used. Until now TAPPS checked only if version 2.28 is sufficient. If not, always the highest operating system A3.xx of UVR1611 has been demanded.

New:

  • Supports RAS PT (room sensor based on PT1000) for UVR1611 from version A3.20.
  • Inputs: Change of default sensor type from KTY10 to PT1000.
  • Inputs: Change of default value for quotient of wind speed from 0.01HZ to 0.05Hz (corresponding to TA wind sensor).
  • Counter: In case of actual count of operating hours it is possible now to input minutes for service reasons too. Since version A3.18 of UVR1611 minutes of actual count are displayed besides hours.
  • Counter: The actual count of operating hours resp. pulses is also indicated in parameter documentation.
  • Heat quantity counter: The actual count as well as the calibration parameters is indicated in parameter documentation.

Modifications:

  • The value of the variable „AutoRefreshTime“ is indicated now without quotation marks. The variety up to now operated without problems too, but not so perfect.
  • The html-file generated from TAPPS for online diagram will be generated without previous Java-script function „set_dimenson_para()“, as it is not necessary for functionality.
  • Bug-fix Logic function: The number of input variables has only been actualized if at least one input variable has been linked. I.e., after deleting of all input variables the number was not reset to “1” but remained unchanged.
  • Bug-fix Parameter documentation: Selecting “Filter unused outputs” the analog output A16 has not been logged in parameter documentation.
  • Bug-fix Parameter documentation: On function Boiler cascade the input variable “Enable third boiler stage” without link has been logged as “User unused” in parameter documentation, also in case of 3 boilers.
  • Bug-fix Function overview: Display error in user interface editor on mixer outputs. If the second mixer output was previously defined as switching output, the old designation has been displayed.

New:

  • The html-file for Online diagram of BL-NET will be generated in new format. This variety allows among others an automatical actualization of measuring values without renewing the graphics. This new format of Online diagram requires BL-NET from version 1.40!
  • Enables optional input of calibration values of Heat quantity counter in new format (for UVR1611 from version A3.18) or in previous format (for older versions).
  • Supports the use of Heat quantity counter as energy counter (electrical performance) for UVR1611 from version A3.18. When input variables flow and return temperature are defined <user/unused>, therefore without link, Heat quantity counter is in mode “Energy counter”.

Modifications:

  • Bug-fix: Background color black was assumed incorrectly to html-file in case of placeholder in Online diagrams.
  • Bug-fix: The minimum requirement of UVR1611 for DL bus is corrected to serial number 13286. Up to now serial number 8006 was displayed wrongly as minimum requirement.
  • Bug-fix on wrong English translations: Flow (previous wrong: pre-run) and flow rate (previous wrong: flow).

  • Support of CAN data logging settings of UVR1611 from version A3.17.

Modifications:

  • Bug-fix from TAPPS 1.24: Evaluation of drawing could lead to crash of para1611.
  • On determination the system requirements for function data the identification number of the function (FuncID) will be observed, as UVR1611 at version 2.28 supports only FuncID’s in range [0..39].
  • Bug-fix: If up to now more than 40 function have been used for short time in TAPPS version 1.23 and  some have been deleted afterwards, the requirements for version A2.28 (max. 40 functions) have been fulfilled again according to TAPPS, but a FuncID>39 lead to a UVR1611 with operating system A2.28 but with wrong links to the function.
  • Bug-fix of parameter documentation: On PID control the nominal value of differential control in case of values >25°C, wrong values have been logged in text file.
  • Bug-fix of TAPPS1.23: This bug caused after changing of user-defined names on parameterizing of in- and outputs in case of a new function in the drawing, to which not yet have been assigned parameters, that the name and some input variables have been changed to wrong display in the drawing.
  • Bug-fix: The drawing objects in library “Functions” have been revised, so that the frame has become the lowest drawing element in the z-level. Up to now some texts e.g., function type and names have been invisible if the function box has been filled with color.
  • Changed default value in CAN network: Enable: ON (up to now: OFF).

New:

  • The process „Evaluation of drawing“ has been optimized temporally. On evaluation temporary files will be loaded to RAM for quick reading accesses.
  • Now the memory requirement of functions will also be checked during parameterizing of a function. So that the user will be pointed by advisory to a too large memory demand not only on <Export to translator> but even during parameterizing of new functions.
  • The number of used functions, their memory requirement as well as the number of used messages will be displayed as informations in the error log of parameterizing window.
  • On <Export to translator> it will be checked if several network input variables are defined for the same parameter (source, NWN=network node, NWO=network output), because it would not be processed correctly by the UVR1611.

Modifications:

  • Bug-fix of TAPPS 1.23 on scaling of input for process variable „Flow rate“. Scaling of >1000 l/h has been reset during saving to 1000 l/h, whereby the necessary scaling of VFS2-40 (1.95V ... 1200 l/h) could not be set right.
  • Bug-fix: In case of older drawings (TAPPS<1.23) resp. function data (UVR1611 <A3.00) the function types of function no. 41 to 44 are not parameterized as <unused> as for these versions only maximal 40 functions are possible. On TAPPS 1.23 following malfunction  on programming based on older versions could happen:

- On “Arrange functions” more functions are displayed than really existing.

- On “Check system requirements” a too great number of used functions has been detected.

- On “Import from translator” incompatibilities of drawings and function data have been reported wrongly.

  • Modified default values in functions:

-          Analog function: Number of input variables after default changed to 1 (instead of 2)

  • Modified default values in messages:

-          Enable message: User/ON (instead user/OFF up to now)

  • For generating function data by TAPPS for the actual version of UVR1611 as well as for version A2.28 the system requirements of function data on <Export to translator> will be determined from the drawing. The minimal requirement (operating system, serial number) of UVR1611 will be displayed in compiler window.
  • Generating the parameter documentation for the function data of the drawing the system informations (TAPPS version and minimal requirements of UVR1611) will be set onto the top of the text file.

 

Modifications:

  • Bug-fix: If a note with more than 255 characters have been input on drawing features (file feature...), a memory area error lead among other things to overwriting the feature “keywords”. For notes it is possible to input maximal 1000 characters.
  • The target path of text file for parameter documentation will only be saved if it will be set by user on “Select target...”. If no target path is set, the default path and name of the drawing (*.eng) will be used.
  • If on parameterizing user-defined names have been modified, the names of all library elements, which exist in the drawing, will be checked and, if necessary, actualized.
  • The input line for setting a new user-defined name is limited to maximal 12 characters. Up to now only on applying a too long name a corresponding error message was created.
  • Modified default values in functions:

-          Heating circuit control: Pre-defined time program: Mo – Su from 06:00 to 22:00 h.

-          Analog function: Result if Enable = OFF: 0°C

  • On library objects of network inputs and outputs the color of type names has been changed for better readability:

-          Network input: text color: white, background color: black

-          Network output: text color: white, background color: blue.

  • On drawing symbols of network inputs the selected source (CAN / DL) will be displayed as additional information to the type name. For already existing network input symbols in the drawing from older TAPPS version (TAPPS < 1.20) this additional information will not be displayed.

Modifications:

  • After selection of parameterization of Signal transfer / adoption the actual signal identification will be displayed in input line of parameterization window. Up to now the input line was empty after selection of parameterization.
  • Additional error messages on handling of parameterization (.par) added.
  • Bug-fix on direct start of drawing (.eng) by double-clicks in Explorer. In this case the author (File? Features...) was reset. On regular opening of drawing (File? Open) the author was loaded correctly anyway.

  • The software is available in several languages. Opening a drawing, which was created by a foreign-language version of TAPPS, the TA library objects of the logical diagram will be converted automatically to the actual language of TAPPS. The automatic translation is only possible for drawing objects, which come from a library of TAPPS from version 1.20. Older symbols cannot be translated and remain unchanged.

Drawings created with version 1.20 or higher are not downwards compatible; therefore they are not editable with older versions (< 1.20) of TAPPS.

  • Improved check of logical links. Direct links of an input or a network variable with an output will be displayed as error now. Up to now such invalid links have been ignored from compiler without error message.
  • Creating parameter documentation of external source files (*.dat) the memory requirement of used functions will be checked.
  • Extension of library for hydraulic symbols with flow switch, volume flow sensor and position indicator.
  • New TAPPS tutorial.

Modifications:

  • Bug-fix of User interface editor. Inserting a parameter at first position in front of already existing parameters of a source it has been inserted at a wrong position.

  • Closing a drawing a request „Save modifications?“ will be displayed now, if only parameters (e.g., of a function) and not the drawing itself have been modified.
