INNOVATIONS

  • New possibility of Userinterlock (Menu User): If USER INTERLOCK: MENU is set to “yes”, user and technician now only have access to the Function overview and the menu User. After logging in as expert, it is possible, to changefrom the Function overview to the Main menu by pressing the "SERVICE" key.Setting to “no” everything is the same so far. “No” is the standard setting of the controller.

  • Simulation Mode acts also on RAS PT
  • Rest of mixer run time is always 20 minutes now. It will be restored after change of direction or activation of enable. Up to now rest of mixer run time was the double value of the set mixer run time in menu Outputs. With it the mixer run time (menu Outputs) can be reduced user-defined for achievement shorter activation times and longer interruptions in the pulses, when there are problems of stability in mixer control circuits.

INNOVATIONS

  • Possibility of electrical energy counter in function Heat quantity counter:

1. The sources of the input variables flow temperature and return temperature are set to User / unused.

2. Input 15 or 16 has to be set to Impuls/Flow rate, the setting of Quotient means Wh/impulse and not litres/impulse. If the setting range is insufficient, then it can be increased in the Function menu by a factor. For each impulse, the Heat quantity counter is increased by Quotient * Factor (Wh).

  • Display of minutes in function Operation hours counter.
  • Introduction of timestamp at the CAN bus:The controller UVR1611 with node number 1 outputs the timestamp; all other CAN bus devices take over date and time automatically. The timestamp is output every minute.

 

MODIFICATIONS

  • Bug-fixof display of pressure sensors for DL bus. Pressure was displayed too high by factor 10.
  • Bug-fix: If the mixer is set to manual mode and the function Maintenance is active, the function was never ended.
  • Bug-fix in function Heatingcircuit controller:Changing the operation mode to Holiday, Leave or Party Error 27 occurred. Bug since A3.00
  • Bug-fix in function Boiler cascade: If enable = OFF, nominal flow temperature was set to 5°C.
  • Modification of the boiler exchange criterion in function Boiler cascade:So far boilers have been exchanged, if all boilers participating in exchange are ON or OFF after set time. Now, without observance the boiler status, the boilers will be exchanged, when the double set time is increased. Check occurs every 10 minutes.
  • Bug-fix in initialization of Boiler cascade (applying the function at the controller)
  • Calibration in function Heat quantity counter simplified.
  • Correction of wrong translation to English: “flow” instead of “pre-run”, “flow rate” instead of “flow”.

  • Measuring of tensions (0V to 5V) is possible at all inputs. With it the interpretation of volume flow sensors, which output tensions instead of impulses, is possible. Interpretation of flow rates for heat quantity counters is only possible at inputs 1 to 14.

Even if the scaling is adjustable up to 10V, it must be sure, that maximal 5V are active at these inputs.

If set to >10l/pls the flow rate is displayed in l/min instead of l/h. Therewith it is possible to create a heat quantity counter up to a power of 3000 kW = 3MW.

  • Possibility of logging two heat quantity counters (HQC) via DL bus:

Logging of network inputs must be set to “yes” (setting in output 14).

Data output UVR1611: The values of the first two HQC’s are output in the function list (as up to now); data output virtual UVR1611: The values of the third and fourth HQC are output in the function list. Thus it is possible to log a total of 4 HQC’s.

Typical application:

2 VSG’s (volume flow encoder) on inputs 15 and 16 of UVR1611;

2 VSG’s on inputs 3 and 4 of CAN I/O module;

4 functions Heat quantity counter at UVR1611.

MODIFICATIONS

  • Network will be initialized 5 seconds after reset (up to now after 20 seconds).
  • Calculation of functions starts 30 seconds after reset (up to now after 20 seconds).

Thus informations from inputs (not from output variables, which are calculated by functions) of other bus members (e.g., room temperature from CAN Monitor, outdoor temperature from another UVR1611) are available at the start of function calculation; thus a short switch on of burner requirement or heating circuit pump is avoided.

  • Bug-fix in calibration mode of function Heat quantity counter (HQC): The time, which should run from 60 to 0 seconds, was not 60 seconds but 4 minutes. This error had no effect to the calculation of HQC but only to time base of calibration mode. Bug since version A2.15.
  • Bug-fix in output 14 (DL): Output 14 has been partly for 20 seconds „ON“ instead „OFF“ after controller start.

INNOVATIONS

  • In simulation mode the average determination of Analog function will also be deactivated.

 

MODIFICATIONS

  • Bug-fix in controlling of Triac outputs (A1, A2, A6, A7): It could happen, that the Triac was not controlled for a complete half wave (10ms) or that the halve wave was cut as in phase control. Bug since version A2.16.
  • Bug-fix in display of Function overview: Instead of error message “Timeout”, dimension and number of input variable was displayed. Bug since version A2.16.
  • After change of controller node number the CAN bus will be initialized. Thereby the problem, that the access to network nodes, with which the user was connected during change of node number, was no longer possible, is solved. (Bug concerns only controllers in a CAN network).
  • Bug-fix in switching over to Function overview in combination of manual controlling of mixer outputs: When the mixer is manuallycontrolled for longer time, the controller has switched over to Function overview anyway.
  • Increasing the time after which the controller restarts automatically from 1 minute up to 2 minutes (after selection of function data transfer or operating system update by Bootloader)

Switch off the heating circuit pump, when the actual flow temperatureT.FlowACT is larger than T.FlowMAX + fixed hysteresis 3K. Pump will be released when T.FlowACT<T.FlowMAX.

  • Possibility to transfer the status of the room sensor RAS via CAN bus (Status room sensor will be transferred automatically with the room temperature. Typical application: Heating circuit built up via CAN I/O Module, room sensor RAS can be connected now directly to CAN I/O module; it is not further necessary as up to now to connect the RAS directly to UVR1611. Needs CAN I/O Module version A1.02.)

MODIFICATIONS

  • Setting range of P and I part of function PID control increased to maximal 100.
  • Increase of setting range value “if enable = OFF” and value of input variables as User in Analog function in mode dimensionless.
  • Increase of setting range for minimum burner runtime in function Heating requirement.
  • Increase of setting range of limit temperature in Solar function to 150°C (necessary for integration solar electrical converters)
  • Bug-fix in switch-on excess in combination with switch-off condition T.FlowNOM<T.FlowMIN:

When the heating circuit was switched-off because of the condition T.FlowNOM<T.FlowMIN, T.flow.NOM was calculated higher and higher by switch-on excess, which became after a certain time higher than T.FlowMIN. Thus the heating circuit pump switched on shortly and after it for a longer time off. E.g., the pump run for 3 minutes every 3 hours. Of course this time could vary depending on set values of switch-on excess and heat curve (T.FlowMIN). As for now the switch-off condition T.FlowNOM<T.FlowMIN will not be considered in connection to switch-on excess.


INCOMPATIBILITIES

  • Setting of new switch-off conditions in Heating circuit controller: Switch off heating circuit pump if T.flowACT>T.FlowMAX (yes/now)
