Due to its function modules, the UVR1611 unit can be freely programmed to suit any system configuration for heating space management. As each function module can be implemented many times over, it is also possible to realise complex control systems, such as solar thermal systems with several collector panels and tanks, or several weather-controlled heating circuits.

The CAN monitor is a display and control unit for the freely programmable universal controller UVR1611, and simultaneously serves as a room sensor. The CAN-MT is responsible for the room temperature, and the model CAN-MT/F can also be used as a moisture sensor. It works according to the same operating concept as the UVR1611 controller, with communication via CAN bus. This makes it possible to set up a network with additional CAN monitors and several UVR1611 controllers. It is possible to access one controller from several CAN monitors, and to access several controllers in the network from one CAN monitor.

|
| | The CAN I/O module provides the freely programmable universal controller UVR1611 with additional inputs and outputs. The CAN bus is used for communication. The parameters of the CAN I/O module are set either via the CAN monitor, or via the UVR1611 controller. | |
| | The CAN-Busconverter provides additional interfaces for UVR1611. For communication, the CAN bus is used. - Standard CAN Bus Interface
- Second CAN Bus interface with selectable Busrate, optionally in fiber optics Execution
- EIB / KNX interface
- M-Bus interface

 | CAN – energy meter The CAN-EZ energy meter is used for heat quantity counting and electrical energy metering. Simultaneously it calculates the coefficient of performance for heat pumps. Communication is via the CAN bus. | |

This device is a quad-signal converter with the different signal levels or current to voltage can be changed the other way around. In particular, it is meant to signal matching between UVR controls and external devices.

In conjunction with a UVR1611K controller, the SIM-BOARD is used for sensor simulation. Programming and data backups are possible via a CAN cable connection. Temperature simulation of all 16 inputs from -10 °C to 125 °C. In addition, inputs 15 and 16 can also be represented digitally.
