What doesn't fit ...

… will be made to fit. Or in this case: If a heat pump’s internal regulation electronics are defective, that doesn’t necessarily mean that the pump needs to be replaced.

Repair rather than dispose” was the leading thought of Michael Pulvers, CEO of Agila Solar. The regulation and monitoring of the internal processes of his three heat pumps are now the job of one UVR16x2 each. This project saw two fashion boutiques in Metzingen, Germany, being supplied with heating and cooling by a shared system. This energy is being generated by three reversible geothermal heat pumps.

The charging processes of the buffer system (cascading of two buffer cylinders) was realized using additional x2 devices, as well as the distribution of heating and cooling throughout the sectors of the building. The regulation of a pre-existing chilled-water-unit for the centralized ventilation system has been added to the heat pump cascade system.

This allowed the heat pump to be utilized for the ventilation system, which drastically reduced the runtimes of the chilled-water-unit.

This system’s visualization also features important external status and error messages for elevators, immersion pumps, garage doors, as well as windows for smoke outlets and heat extraction.
